I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were spacious, full of character, and overlooked a square where the Christmas Market was happening, providing a lot to see. The central location made it convenient, and the room was equipped with everything we could have needed. The service was really nice and friendly, especially when we arrived late in the evening. The location was perfect for my activities in central Bordeaux, right on the square and walking distance to everything. The dining experience was good, with a decent breakfast selection. Overall, a great value for money stay.
The hotel boasts a fabulous front position with a splendid view and friendly, extra-helpful staff. The breakfast offers plenty of good options and the central location facing the internal courtyard is a definite plus.
The hotel had a charming and funky design that matched the pictures on the website, but the rooms were extra small and not completely noise isolated, which could be bothersome at times. The service was a bit lacking in basic tourist information and friendliness, though exceptional when I injured my foot and needed assistance. The location was excellent, being right in the city center with easy access to attractions and dining options. The dining experience was adequate but could benefit from some decor refreshing. Overall, a quirky hotel with some room for improvement.
